Der leidenschaftliche Akkordeonspieler und Komponist Chango Spasiuk hebt den Chamamé auf eine neue Stufe. Aus der ländlichen Tanzmusik wurde eine ausgefeilte Kunstform, die nun in erster Linie im konzertanten Rahmen gespielt wird. Spasiuk's Rolle dabei kann verglichen werden mit der Rolle, die sein Landsmann Astor Piazzolla, für den Tango Argentino gespielt hat.
